Florida's Coral Reef, the third-largest barrier reef in the world, has guarded our coastline for thousands of years. Now it's struggling, and its survival rests on a small number of shoulders.
After record heat and mass bleaching killed thousands of corals in 2023, many scientists walked away from reef restoration, too heartbroken to continue, but some only doubled their resolve.
REEF KEEPERS follows a band of defiant scientists battling heatwaves, hurricanes, and heartache to save the corals they love, revealing one of our era's greatest environmental crises as a deeply personal struggle and offering a roadmap for turning hope into action.
